Please join me in congratulating Mike Conway on his promotion to ESSA Commercialisation Manager, in succession to James McMullen, effective 1st of April.
Mike joined Pepsico 9 years ago and worked in various role in Commercialization NA for Quaker Oats, Gatorade and Tropicana. As an Accolade expert, Mike moved to the Pepsi Lipton JV to support the Portfolio Management team 1.5 years ago. During that time, Mike created the innovation database and reporting tool, supporting project reporting and prioritization. He built CoP with Regional Innovation Champions and actively cooperated with Global and Regional Finance teams on various portfolio management tools. Most recently, Mike finalized the sustainability tool creation which will allow us close monitoring on SR and circular pack agenda delivery.
Mike will transition to his new role gradually until the end of May. Please join me to wish Mike good luck in new role and welcome him in the new team.
Please join me in congratulating Flora Csakvari on her promotion to Global Brand Manager, Pure Leaf, effective 1 Jan.
Flora was most recently Assistant Brand Manager, Lipton ESSA team. She played a lead role on Tfuture design relaunch last year, delivering an impressive 1200+ individual artworks on time and in full.
Most recently she kicked off the TFuture Green, Matcha Y2 artwork and Sparkling relaunch for BNLX. She was also a key organizer of the Lisbon ESSA conference.
Prior to the JV, Flora honed her customer facing skills as Boots (Biggest drugstore chain in UK) Customer Replenishment Specialist for Unilever UK and was also Assistant Brand Manager involved in the launch of Monster Energy drinks back home in Hungary.
Outside work, Flora is a big fan of travelling and recently enjoyed NZ and Mauritius. She is also a lover of all things in beauty and cosmetics, actively seeking out new products and launch events so she can get her hands on the latest greatest innovations.
Here’s to welcoming Hany Nassib to our winning blends – he joins us as senior Marketing Manager MENA starting March ‘2018.
He succeeds Amr Sharara, who after two years in PLI, has now gone back to the Unilever hot tea business in MENA.
Hany has 18 years of Marketing experience in dynamic Multinational FMCG Companies with a strong knowledge of Middle East and Africa Market.
He joined PepsiCo in 2009 and had held multiple assignments in the Marketing function. During his tenure he achieved high share record on 7up and Mountain Dew in Saudi Arabia and Has led MENA FOBO CSD agenda to develop successful programs. On Innovation front Hany setup/ commercialized Baked Lays strategy in middle east and Africa, introduced flavours line extensions including 7up Squeeze, Mirinda Battle of Flavours achieving incremental volume and revenue growth.
He lives with his family in Dubai and in his free time he loves practicing sports, running , swimming and playing Tennis
With his passion for crafting mixes and deep understanding of the Middle East consumers, Hany is all set to lead the challenging and exciting task of seeding the ice tea category in the Middle East .
